The Bible is a library of sacred documents which have been preserved and passed down to us from the scribal communities of ancient Israel and Judah and from the first Christian writers. Reading the Bible is no easy task. These books were written, edited, and redacted over a long period of time and by many different authors, editors, and redactors. These are complex documents. Biblical Criticism is a project in which I hope to explore these books and present my own notes and thoughts on the exegesis of the biblical texts. My sincere hope is that these short essays will be of some use to you.
